【摘要】:ThispartofBS5446specifiesrequirementsandtestmethodsforkitsandtheircomponentsintendedtobeassembledtocreatesmokealarmsystemsfordeafandhardofhearingpeople,forthepurposeoflifesafetyindwellings.Italsospecifiesrequirementsandtestmethodsforsuchsmokealarmkitsintendedforuseinleisureaccommodationvehicles(LAVs).NOTE1AlthoughthispartofBS5446providesthespecificationforsmokealarmkitsfordwellings,itisrecognizedthatthesekits,orcomponentsthereof,mightbeusedinothersituations,wheresimilarrequirementscouldbeanticipated.ThispartofBS5446doesnotcover:—theuseofstand-alonesmokealarms;—extensionsormodificationstoexistinginstallations;—outdooruseofanycomponentofakit.NOTE2EquipmentconformingtothispartofBS5446mightnotbesuitableforuseinboats,duetothecorrosiveatmosphere.ThispartofBS5446doesnotcovermedicalvibratingdevicesasdefinedinBSENISO9999;thesearecoveredbyBSEN12182.
