【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverspolymerprecoatedsteelsheetforcorrugatedsteelpipe(CSP)whichiscoatedaftermetalliccoatingoncontinuouslinesbycoilcoating(rollercoatingorlaminating)processes.Themetalliccoatingiseitherzinc,55%aluminum-zincalloy,orzinc-5%aluminum-mischmetalalloy.Sheetforthispurposeisfurnishedflatincoils,flatincutlengths,orcorrugatedincutlengths,allbeingprotectedbyamill-appliedpolymercoatingonbothsides.1.2Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasthestandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.1.3Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatrefersonlytothetestmethodportion,Section9,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Significance:Whenconductingexposuresindevicesthatuselaboratorylightsources,itisimportanttoconsiderhowwelltheacceleratedtestconditionswillreproducepropertychangesandfailuremodesassociatedwithend-useenvironmentsforthematerialsbeingtested.Inaddition,itisessentialtoconsidertheeffectsofvariabilityinboththeacceleratedtestandoutdoorexposureswhensettingupexposureexperimentsandwheninterpretingtheresultsfromacceleratedexposuretests.Nolaboratoryexposuretestcanbespecifiedasatotalsimulationofactualuseconditionsinoutdoorenvironments.Resultsobtainedfromtheselaboratoryacceleratedexposurescanbeconsideredasrepresentativeofactualuseexposuresonlywhenthedegreeofrankcorrelationhasbeenestablishedforthespecificmaterialsbeingtestedandwhenthetypeofdegradationisthesame.TherelativedurabilityofmaterialsinactualuseconditionscanbeverydifferentindifferentlocationsbecauseofdifferencesinUVradiation,timeofwetness,relativehumidity,temperature,pollutants,andotherfactors.Therefore,evenifresultsfromaspecificexposuretestconductedaccordingtothispracticearefoundtobeusefulforcomparingtherelativedurabilityofmaterialsexposedinaparticularexteriorenvironment,itcannotbeassumedthattheywillbeusefulfordeterminingrelativedurabilityofthesamematerialsforadifferentenvironment.Eventhoughitisverytempting,calculationofanaccelerationfactorrelatingxhormegajoulesofradiantexposureinalaboratoryacceleratedtesttoymonthsoryearsofexteriorexposureisnotrecommended.Theseaccelerationfactorsarenotvalidforseveralreasons.Accelerationfactorsarematerialdependentandcanbesignificantlydifferentforeachmaterialandfordifferentformulationsofthesamematerial.Variabilityintherateofdegradationinbothactualuseandlaboratoryacceleratedexposuretestcanhaveasignificanteffectonthecalculatedaccelerationfactor.Accelerationfactorscalculatedbasedontheratioofirradiancebetweenalaboratorylightsourceandsolarradiation,evenwhenidenticalbandpassesareused,donottakeintoconsiderationtheeffectsonamaterialofirradiance,temperature,moisture,anddifferencesinspectralpowerdistributionbetweenthelaboratorylightsourceandsolarradiation.Note48212;Ifuseofanaccelerationfactorisdesiredinspiteofthewarningsgiveninthispractice,suchaccelerationfactorsforaparticularmaterialareonlyvalidiftheyarebasedondatafromasufficientnumberofseparateexteriorandlaboratoryacceleratedexposuressothatresultsusedtorelatetimestofailureineachexposurecanbeanalyzedusingstatisticalmethods.AnexampleofastatisticalanalysisusingmultiplelaboratoryandexteriorexposurestocalculateanaccelerationfactorisdescribedbyJ.A.Simms(1).Thereareanumberoffactorsthatmaydecreasethedegreeofcorrelationbetweenacceleratedtestsusinglaboratorylightsourcesandexteriorexposures.MorespecificinformationonhoweachfactormayalterstabilityrankingofmaterialsisgiveninAppendixX1.Differencesinthespectraldistributionbetweenthelaboratorylightsourceandsolarradiation.Lightintensitieshigherthanthoseexperiencedinactualuseconditions.Testconditionswherespecimensareexposedcontinuouslytolightwhenactualuseconditionsprovidealternateperiodsoflightanddark.Specimentemperatureshigherthanthoseinactualconditions.Exposureconditionsthatproduceunrealistict.......
