【摘要】:TheinternationalStandarddescribesaprocedureforthecalculationofthecetaneindexofmiddle-distillatefuelsfrompetroleum-derivedsources.Thecalculatedcalueistermedthe"cetaneindexbyfour-cariableequation"ThroughouttheremainingtextofthisinternationalStandard,theterm"cetaneindex"impliescetaneindexbyfour-variableequation.ThisinternationalStandardisnotapplicabletofuelscontainingadditivesforraisingthecetanenumber,nortopurehydrocarbons,nortodistillatefuelsderivedfromcoal.Itisapplicabletofuelscontainingnon-petroleumderivativesfromtarsandandoilshale.NOTE1ThisinternationalStandardwasoriginallydevelopedusingamatrixoffuels,someofwhichcontainnonpetrolemuderivatesformtarsandsandoilshale.Othercetaneindexequationshavesincebeendevelopedwhichcanbemoreapplicabletotarsandsproducts.NOTE2Thecetaneendexisnotanalternativewaytoexpressthecetanenumber;itisasupplementarytool,tobeusedwithdueregardforitslimitations.NOTE3Thecetaneindexisusedtoestimatethecetanenumberofdieselfuelwhenatestengineisnotavailabletodeterminethispropertydirectly,orwheninsufficientsampleisavailableforanenginerating.Incaseswherethecetanenumberofafuelhasbeenprebiouslyestablished,thecetaneindexcanbeusedtoverifythecentanenumberofsubsequentsamplesofthatfuel,probidedthefuel'sourceandmodeofmanufactureremainunchanged.ThececommendedrangeoffuelpropertiesforapplicationofthisinternationalStandardisasfollow:FuelpropertyRecommendedrangeCetanenumber32,5-56,5Densityat15°C,kg/m3805,0-895,010%(V/V)distillationrecoverytemperature,°C171-25950%(V/V)distillationrecoverytemperature,°C212-30890%(V/V)distillationrecoverytemperature,°C251-363Withintherecommendedrangeofcetanenumber(32,5to56,5),theexpectederrorofthepredictionviathecetaneindexequationwillbelessthan±2cetanenumbersfor65%ofthedistillatefuelsexamined.Errorsmaybegreaterforfuelswhosepropertiesfalloutsidetherecommendedrangeofapplication.
