【摘要】:Thisstandardshallspecifytheminimumdocumentation,design,performance,testing,andcertificationrequirementsfornewsingle-useandnewmultiple-useemergencymedicalprotectiveclothing,includinggarments,gloves,footwear,andfaceprotectiondevices,usedbyfireandemergencyservicespersonnelduringemergencymedicaloperations.Thisstandardshallnotbeinterpretedasprovidingcriteriaforprotectionfromradiologicalagents,fromhazardouschemicals,fromflammableorexplosiveatmospheres,orfromthermalhazardsassociatedwithfirefighting.Thisstandardshallnotbeinterpretedasprovidingcriteriaforprotectionfrombloodandbodyfluid-bornepathogensthatareairborne.Thisstandardshallnotbeinterpretedasprovidingcriteriaforrespiratoryprotection.
